As part of the restructuring of the Zeitfracht Group’s business segments, logistics expert Arnold Schroven will take over as Chairman of the Advisory Board of Zeitfracht Logistics Holding from 1 March 2018.
“With his outstanding professional expertise, his many years of experience in top management and in the strategic development of companies, Mr Schroven is an asset to the Zeitfracht Group,” explains Wolfram Simon, Managing Director of the ZEITFRACHT Group.
“Mr. Schroven is the first choice for the chairmanship of the advisory board, precisely because of our long history together at DPD. Our entire management can still learn a lot from this man. We are pleased that we were able to win him for this task”, adds Olaf Stüwe, Managing Director of ZEITFRACHT Logistics.
For more than 25 years, Schroven, mathematician, was responsible for the development, management and development as well as the international expansion of the German Parcel Service (DPD). He had a decisive influence on the Group in the areas of franchise development, operations and strategic development. Most recently, Schroven was Executive Vice President at DPD shareholder GeoPost S.A., Paris, where he focused on strategic partnerships and acquisitions.
At ZEITFRACHT he will now expand an advisory board with industry experienced members, who will contribute their networks, their expertise and their ideas to the advisory board work as sparring partners for strategic and entrepreneurial decisions.
In the coming weeks, an independent advisory board is to be set up for the aviation sector.
