Münster/Berlin, Oktober 2th, 2018
The Spesa haulage company from Münster has been taken over by the Berlin company Zeitfracht Logistics and is now looking for new employees. The managing director of the new Spesa Zeitfracht, Meike Schippers, was happy that Spesa now belongs to the Zeitfracht Group.
Although Spesa, founded in 1980, had to file for bankruptcy at the beginning of July, the company was able to continue its operations. All 115 employees stayed on board during this difficult time. With the new owner, there is now job security, says Schippers. Now, Spesa searches for further reinforcement. Spesa Zeitfracht wants to hire new employees for local and long-distance transport as well as in administration.
Spesa Zeitfracht, which currently has a fleet of around 80 trucks and supplies end consumer markets in refrigerated and deep-freeze logistics throughout Germany, has also given itself a new company logo. It connects the wing of the Zeitfracht Group with the name of the Münster-based freight forwarder.
“It is a special achievement that the competence and know-how of Spesa’s employees have been preserved. We are pleased not only to be able to offer these employees a new home, but also to be able to recruit new staff at the same time. Now we want to grow,” said Wolfram Simon-Schröter, Managing Director of the Zeitfracht Group on Tuesday.
