Berlin, December 9, 2019 –
German Airways will fly the Bundesliga team of the 1st FC Union Berlin in the club colours to their away games. For this purpose, a Dash 8 Q-400 regional aircraft was fitted with the Köpenicker logo and the “Team Transporter” lettering. German Airways is thus making a specially painted aircraft available for long-term cooperation with the Bundesliga rising star.

The logo and club colours will be on display at German and international airports with immediate effect. The permanent branding is above all an expression of the good cooperation between German Airways and the Bundesliga club.”
German Airways and 1. FC Union Berlin have maintained a long-term cooperation since the start of the current Bundesliga season. The cooperation includes flights to away matches, for example to Munich and Freiburg, as well as to training camps of the Bundesliga team in Spain.
