Berlin/Hanover, 15 April 2020
Zeitfracht Group is further strengthening its logistics activities. It is integrating the Hanover-based forwarding company Döpke Transportlogistik, acquired in 2017, into the Zeitfracht Logistik company. This will strengthen the brand image of the system service provider.
The branch office in Hanover will remain and will continue to be managed by Jens Schillberg and his team. For Zeitfracht Logistik, proximity to existing customers is very important.
Stephan Opel, Managing Director of Zeitfracht Logistik: “With the merger of Döpke and Zeitfracht Logistik, we are unifying our brand image and thus strengthening it considerably. We are positioning ourselves accordingly on the market and can also present various synergy effects with regard to our services. This will enable us to respond even better to the needs of our customers and the market in the future. In the medium term, we will significantly expand the Hannover location and thus create new jobs in the Hannover region”.
Especially during the current corona crisis period, the importance of flexibility, a well-functioning disposition as well as a reliable organisation of the work processes becomes apparent. Stephan Opel: “Even at the beginning of the crisis, we reacted very quickly, maintained contact with all customers and suppliers and tackled the issues together. But it was even more important for us to keep our employees informed. Right now we need every colleague to master the logistical challenges of maintaining supply chains. That is why employee support is our top priority now and especially now”.
