Subject to the approval of the antitrust authorities, Zeitfracht GmbH is taking a majority stake in BuchPartner GmbH in Darmstadt, thus expanding its core media logistics business segment. BuchPartner is a full-service provider for books and media operating throughout German-speaking countries. The company’s customer base primarily includes supermarkets, hypermarkets, consumer electronics centers and discount stores. BuchPartner manages and supports professional book departments in these markets and offers different, precisely tailored space concepts and book ranges. BuchPartner currently manages and supplies over 5,000 sales areas in Germany and Austria.
