Erfurt, Stuttgart, January 25, 2021. Zeitfracht GmbH’s successful Verbundgruppe is entering 2021 with new speed: The association, in which 380 bookstores in Germany, Austria and South Tyrol are now networked and benefit from special programs, promotions and advantages, is now called “Buch&Co.”. Previously, the cooperation, which was founded at the beginning of 2019, was run under the label “MENSCH.” The slogan “MORE THAN READING” and the logo of the dealer community are also new.
The aim is to further strengthen the brand. With “Buch&Co.”, the marketing channels online and social media as well as the range of additional products are much more clearly in focus. From an economic perspective, membership of the cooperation continues to have many advantages: An individual purchasing model strengthens the profitability and liquidity of the bookstores. The category management concept of “Buch&Co.” also ensures greater appeal and variety in the bookstore: it is consistently geared to the end customer and therefore to topics from the high-growth guidebook and non-fiction sectors. This enables booksellers to better exploit the great untapped potential there. The cooperation also offers bookstores a comprehensive marketing package with print and digital advertising materials, newsletters, and social media posts on topics and promotions, as well as an event platform.
And another innovation for 2021 shows that “Buch&Co.” is continuing on its growth path: the concept will now also be offered to bookstores in Switzerland.
